About Me
I was born in the Philippines but moved to various cities throughout California and the Pacific Northwest. After graduating from San Francisco State University, I began my career in outdoor education and interpretation with the National Park Service at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. When I moved to Seattle, I began specializing into the field of habitat restoration and green jobs workforce development. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places, trying new restaurants (I’m a big foodie!) going to concerts & community events, and creating art!
Why I work at PIE
I’m passionate about connecting people to nature and PIE has given me an opportunity to have a positive environmental impact while increasing opportunities for youth and young adults to get involved in the environmental field through PIE’s Restoration Training Crew program. My goal is to help participants gain skills and experiences that help connect them with nature and bring them towards a career path that is meaningful to them. I work at PIE because of the people both staff, community, and the many partners who help support the work that we do!
