About Me
I am deeply passionate about helping my community and seeing the success of individuals, especially those with refugee backgrounds like mine. My journey through Partner in Employment’s environmental restoration program gave me new perspectives, and I’ve embraced the opportunity to lead and support my crew in impactful work. I enjoy the hands-on work and leadership roles I’ve taken on within our environmental training program. Outside of work, I find joy in connecting with people, expanding my skills, and being involved in local community efforts.

Why I work at PIE
My passion lies in helping my community, especially those with immigrant and refugee backgrounds, to find opportunities and achieve success. As someone with a refugee background myself, I understand the challenges and aspirations of individuals in similar situations. PIE’s mission aligns perfectly with my values, and I am grateful to work with a team that shares a commitment to empowering others. Here, I have the opportunity to support youth from diverse backgrounds, guide them through meaningful environmental work, and help them access resources and training that will set them up for success in the future.
